This 101 Things To Do in 1001 Days Project was founded by the guy at Triplux: Day Zero.

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

My Approach: It’s not called Focus Finder for nothing. I set 15 BIG GOALS for myself, to help me find focus and to determine what are really important to me. And then I set 101 MINI-GOALS that will help me achieve those BIG GOALS one step at a time.

My original start date was May 5, 2008–but things happened along the road, but now I am back and more determined than ever to finish this! Leave me a message and link me up to show me support : ) I’ll link you back too!

Start Date: January 1, 2009
End Date: September 29, 2011

I have 1001 days to do all this

RANDOM RULES

VERY/TOO: AJU VS. NOMU
아주 (Aju) – More positive
너무 (Nomu) – More negative/exaggerated (can also be sarcastic)
Example:
Compliments: 아주 예뻐다 – Aju yeppeoda – Very pretty

POINTING TO SUBJECTS: I – KU – CHO
(i) – THIS: Object is near the speaker
(ku) – THAT: Object is far from the speaker
(cho) – THAT OVER THERE: Object is far from both speaker and listener
Example:
이 여자가 제 친구예요 (I yoja-ga che chinguyeyo) – THIS girl is my friend.
그 여자가 제 친구예요 (Ku yoja-ga che chinguyeyo) – THAT girl is my friend.
저 여자가 제 친구예요 (Cho yoja-ga che chinguyeyo) – THAT girl OVER THERE is my friend.

I WANT TO…: “SHIPO”
(For own desires only – I/We want)
PATTERN: (Base form of verb) + 고 (go) + 싶어 (shipo)
Example:
보고 싶어요 (Bogo shipoyo) – I want to see you; I miss you
걸고 싶어요 (Kolgo shipoyo) – I want to walk
만나고 싶어요 (Mannago shipoyo) – I want to meet you

TOGETHER WITH: “RANG” + “HAMKKE” OR “KATI”
PATTERN: (Noun) + (Particle for ‘with’) + 함께 (hamkke) OR 같이 (kati)

“With”
There are many particles that can be used to mean “with”, but to make things simple, I will now only introduce one particle:
이랑/랑 (irang/rang) – with
“Together”
함께 (hamkke) – Together
같이 (kati) – Together
These two are interchangeable, and really just mean the same thing.

Example:
친구랑 (Chingu-rang) – With friend
친구랑 함께 (Chingu-rang hamkke) – Together with friend
친구랑 같이 (Chingu-rang kati) – Together with friend
